Dillon in his new room that he shares with his new brothers (Matthew and Enoch- above)

Dillon's 11th Bday

My little boy is 11 years old now!

Dillon's First Day- 5th Grade

It's Dillon's last year in Grade School. He will be in Middle School next year. He is so smart, still gets mostly A's and a couple B's. Always tests very high.
This will be the only year that he and Abby will be in the same school.
I cannot believe he is so old!

Dillon's 10th Birthday!

Dillon just turned 10 years old! He decided he wanted to invite 5 friends to Sky Mania, which is a trampoline jump zone here in Vegas. So that is what we did. Chuck took the boys down to Skymania for an hour and then they came back to the house for pizza and cake/icecream. Then Dillon had one friend spend the night. I think he had a great time!

Dillon's 1st Day of School- 4th Grade

Today is Dillon's first day in the 4th Grade at a brand new school Mark Fine Elementary. he is now a Fine Firebird!
This is Dillon's third elementary school since he started school. They just keep building new schools and we keep getting moved into them. There are 3 elementary school within a 2 mile radius of us. Crazy, huh? It doesn't seem to bother Dillon though and one good thing about new schools is that everything in the school is brand new as well. :)

St George Fair

We went to a little fair in St George Saturday. The kids had a great time on the rides. Dillon did not like the Ferris wheel much (neither did I) because of how high it went and we both ended up on it together. He did have a great time on all the other rides and was such a great big brother to Abby...helping her and making sure she was safe and didn't get hurt.

Swimming Lessons

Dillon took swim lessons again this year as well. He is always in the advanced class and they working on "fine tuning" their swimming skills. They learn all the different types of strokes and work on perfecting them. He is a really good swimmer and he really enjoys it. It is funny, I never noticed, but his teacher mentioned that it only takes him 2 strokes to get across the pool because he has such long arms. Maybe we found a sport he might enjoy participating in.

Dillon's Trip to Washington

Dillon went to Washington a couple weeks ago to spend time with my parents. I finally took the time to put this slideshow of pics together that my mom sent me of the trip. He had a great time with his Grandma and Grandpa!

Happy Easter!

I have to say that Dillon was not as excited about Easter this year. He actually took his time getting up this morning and then headed down and poured himself a bowl of cereal, pretty much ignoring the Easter candy, until we came down with Abby and she was all excited. I cannot believe he is already getting to that age! They start so young now. Where has the youth gone? As you will notice, he is the kid that will not smile for the camera. He is always making funny faces!
